Navy SeaPort-NxG

CITC is proud to announce its selection as a Woman Owned Small Business Prime Contractor to the Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEASYSCOM) for their Next Generation SeaPort (SeaPort-NxG) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). SeaPort NxG includes 23 functional areas and separated into two work categories: Engineering Support Services and Program Management Support Services. DoN estimates the government will procure $5B worth of services annually through SeaPort-NxG, which contains a five-year base period of performance and a five-year ordering period option for a total of $50B.

SeaPort NxG will allow CITC to provide continued service to the Department of the Navy, expand CITC’s capabilities and customer base within the Navy. Commands serviced under this award include Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Office of Naval Research, and United States Marine Corps.

SeaPort-NxG’s 23 functional areas under Engineering Services include: Engineering, System Engineering, and Safety and Process Engineering Support, Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support, In-Service Engineering, Fleet Introduction, Installation and Checkout and Provisioning Support, Measurement Facilities, Range, and Instrumentation Support, Interoperability, Test and Evaluation, Trials Support, Research and Development Support, Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis Support, Prototyping, Pre-Production, Model-Making, and Fabrication Support, System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support, Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) Support, Inactivation and Disposal Support, and Biochemical Engineering Support. The categories under Program Management are: Financial Analysis and Budget Support, Quality Assurance (QA) Support, Functional and Direct Programmatic Administrative Support, Professional Development and Training Support, Analytical and Organizational Assessment Support, Database Administrators, Public Affairs and Multimedia Support, Logistics Support, Configuration Management (CM) Support, Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT) Support, and Computer Systems Analysts.
